At PortraTale, every book is made to order and personalized for your child. Your preview is free—please review it first and place your order only when you love what you see.

Print Issues or Damage During Shipping

If your book arrives damaged, or there’s a printing defect (such as missing pages, severe misprints, or production flaws), we’ll remake and reship your book at no cost.

To help us resolve it quickly, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include:

  • your order number, and
  • a clear photo of the issue (and the packaging if it arrived damaged)

Important Notes

  • Because each book is custom-made for one child, we can only offer support for issues related to production quality or shipping damage.
  • Shipping fees (if any) are not refundable unless the issue is caused by a printing defect or damage in transit.
  • We may ask for additional photos or information to confirm the issue and speed up the remake process.

We truly hope your family loves your storybook. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to make it right.
